Current Status
iPeer is actively developed at Centre of Teaching, Learning and Technology (CTLT) in the University of British Columbia.
Background
iPeer was solely developed at the Centre of Instructional Support (CIS) in the University of British Columbia. In 2002, Jim Sibley, Manager at the CIS, realizes that collecting peer evaluations is very time consuming and almost impossible to provide feedbacks; therefore Jim decided to develop a web application to automate the process of peer evaluations. The first stable version 1.0 was released in 2003.
